Information regarding various scholarship programmes of the Government of India are sent by the Embassy of India Yangon from time to time to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs(MOFA), Government of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar, which then forwards the details to the concerned Ministries in Myanmar for nomination of candidates. Applicants whose nominations are forwarded by MOFA to the Embassy of India are required to appear for a personal interview at the Embassy of India, to judge their suitability or otherwise for the nominated course. Applications of successful candidates are then forwarded to Ministry of External Affairs, Govt of India for necessary approval. Later, the acceptance letters are sent to MOFA and concerned Ministry for informing the selected candidate.
